Shanna "Urban Girl" Jones - Tuesday, November 8, 2011 ~ 9:13 p.m.

I was scheduled to start the Snap Commit on Monday, November 7th, but I dropped by Snap Kitchen the night before to stock up on my food for the next 4 days. I also grabbed a "custom" salad made with candied walnuts, avocado, and beef tenderloin. YUM! The salad was wonderful and I really enjoyed the experience of "creating my own" salad. Watching the cook personally season my meat was pretty cool too. There are a ton of options and you can actually incorporate the salad station into your daily meals.

I had already determined what my daily calorie intake was going to be based on my current weight, height and other variables (ex. my spin classes). If you are not sure of what your daily calories need to be to reach your weight loss goals, you can schedule a visit with the dietitian. I am now ending day 3 (three) and although I am happy with the plan and the new path it has placed me on, I am finding that I am a very picky eater! Aside from the salads, the Caesar Wheat Wrap, Spaghetti & Turkey Bolognese, Curried Chicken Salad, Chimichurri Beef, Spiced Pumpkin Pie, and the Grass Feed Meatballs and Peppers were awesome. Others I didn't care for were the Key Lime Pie (the texture turned me off) and I would never get the Thai Green Curry with Chicken again. I am sure others would like it but it was a bit too sweet for me.

I haven't weighed myself yet, but I feel great! I will post my pounds lost at the end of the week.
