In our new series, it's all about the food. We will visit a spot and give you a thumbs up or thumbs down to answer the question, "Well, How Was It?"

1018 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77006 (Montrose)

Type of Cuisine

Serving coffee and tea with a small food offering

Initial Thoughts

Definitely an industry hangout spot, "I should bring my laptop next time", free-standing shop with a great patio

The coffee is roasted right here in Houston so I would've expected this Cappuccino to be no less than perfect; and it's so pretty too!

Truth be told...I really came for the biscuits. Two versions are available - the sausage, fried egg, and cheese, or paired with crème fraîche and their house-made apricot spread. The word has been out for a while about these babies. They are buttery, large, and in charge!
