The Burger

The Rodeo Clown Reuben – is a combination of Brisket, Chicken Fried Steak, Hot Dog, Tillamook Sharp Cheddar, Tillamook Pepper Jack, Sweet Jalapenos, Malt Slaw, Tomato, Pickles, 1000 Island and Chile con Queso on Pumpernickel; cost is $18.

Can’t get enough of that cheese???  They are also offering  Maryland Blue Crab & Tillamook Pepper Jack Pimento Cheese Dip with Warm Tortilla Strips for $12.

Initial Thoughts:

"Does that burger come with instructions", "It is life altering", DAMN IT’S BIG

Yes, you read that correctly, Chef Lance Fegen is double-dipping the Tillamook! He did a burger and a dip, which means more good eats for us. One thing I can say about Chef Fegen is he knows how to mix-up some stuff that challenges our taste buds.  Not sure what I’m talking about…Sandwich ~ Minute-Rib-Eye, Fried Eggs, Marinated Tomato, Griddled Onions, Cheddar, Sourdough; Jungle Gorilla Burger Bowl ~ Chopped Burger, Sledge Iceberg, Avocado, Jalapeno, Fries, Chile con Queso, Egg. This one was so delicious the couple behind me screamed out (very loudly I must add), "This is not a salad; it is FREAKIN FOOD PORN and I am in LOVE!".

With that, "I was FREAKIN excited"...excited about diving into my Texas size Reuben with layer upon layer of favor! This bad boy was the fool (for those new to our blog that is a good thing). I think the look on my face said it all; folks I had a multiple TASTEGASISM!!! The gentleman sitting next to Urban Girl was like, "I’ll have what she's having". Yes, a complete when Harry met Sally moment, minus the sound effects. He was so in love with it the couple behind us (the food porn folks from earlier) wanted to know what the hell we all had ordered?!?!  We told him it was a special sandwich featuring Tillamook cheese, for Tillamook Burger Week. He screams (yet again) to Chico the operation manager that he will be in the next day to get it.  You still have time to get by Liberty Kitchen to get your world rocked by The Rodeo Clown Reuben.

I know you are thinking…what about the dip??? Another win for team Fegen, and this was all about the cheese BABY! What made it the best Pimento Cheese Dip I’ve ever had was the cheese. It was so smooth and yummy, and was the perfect complement to the Maryland Blue crab. This was another item that had folks around us a buzz. So much that we are campaigning to have it added to the menu.

After you taste them both or individually, leave us a comment or shoot us a tweet with your feedback.
